Photo Luna

Lunar Photography: A Beginner's Guide

Photographing the moon can be challenging but incredibly rewarding. Here are some tips to get started:

Necessary Gear

You'll need a camera with manual mode and ideally a telephoto lens (at least 200mm). A tripod is essential to prevent shake.

Camera Settings

The moon is very bright! Use a low ISO (100 or 200), a medium aperture (f/8 to f/11), and a fast shutter speed (start with 1/125s and adjust).

Focus

Use manual focus and zoom in on your camera screen to ensure the craters are sharp.
